CQC Registration Status:

At present, my private practice is exempt from Care Quality Commission (CQC) registration, as the services I offer do not fall within the scope of regulated activities, according to the CQC’s guidance under the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (“The Scope of Registration,” updated May 2022, pages 13-15). This has been confirmed in detail through discussions with CQC registration advisors on August 30, 2024.
If my practice scope changes to include regulated activities in the future, I will promptly apply for CQC registration.
